Apalachee Center is the largest provider of community mental health care in North Florida’s Big Bend region, providing services in eight counties including:

FDLRS Miccosukee
Through a network of Associate Centers across the state, FDLRS offers high-quality services, training, and resources to families and school personnel in every Florida school district. Whether you’re a parent seeking support, a teacher looking for professional learning, or a district leader supporting Exceptional Student Education (ESE) programs, FDLRS is here to help.
We provide Guidance, Shelter, and Support to youth and families in the Big Bend area. When youth or families have a problem, we work to understand their needs and develop a plan where we can do our best to service them. We are committed to serving families, and strive to work with youth and families to help get things back on track.
FSU CARD
The FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) is dedicated to providing individuals with Autism or related disabilities, their families, and professionals who work with them with free consultation, resources, and educational support to build knowledge, infrastructure, sustainability, and capacity within the community.
APD Northwest FL
APD supports individuals with disabilities and their families in living, learning and working within their communities by creating multiple pathways to possibilities. APD identifies the service needs of people with developmental disabilities, and those individuals may receive social, medical, behavioral, residential, and/or therapeutic services.
Children’s Home Society
CHS delivers the right services at the right time to help children and families through the most difficult times of their lives. We work to help keep more kids safe at home with their families, giving parents confidence and opportunities to build upon their strengths, empowering them to raise their children in healthy, nurturing homes.

We exist to help grow healthy children, parents, and the relationship between them. We are the behind-the-scenes team ensuring Northwest Florida children have access to affordable, high quality early learning experiences, so every child is prepared for success in school.
