FDLRS

The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) is an IDEA Funded State Project of the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS). BEESS directly supports the FLDOE’s Guiding Principles and Strategic Initiatives. Region 13 is covered by 3 different centers:

 

 

 

 

Florida Network of Youth and Family Services

The Florida Network of Youth and Family Services, Inc. (the Florida Network) is a nonprofit statewide association representing 27 member agencies that serve homeless, runaway and troubled youth ages six and older and their families.

Lutheran Services Florida

Through our work, we empower our local community to build healthier, happier, and more hopeful futures. LSF (Lutheran Services Florida) is deeply committed to supporting our neighbors in need, ensuring that families right here in our Florida communities have access to the resources they need to thrive. We work to prevent suicide and substance abuse, provide vital support for families facing crisis, and help children from low-income households receive the education they deserve to succeed. Our three core programs—Head Start, Family Focus, and Health Systems—are dedicated to strengthening families, fostering resilience, and creating lasting change right where we live.

Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD®) is one of the world’s largest and most experienced applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment providers.

APD Central Region

APD supports individuals with disabilities and their families in living, learning and working within their communities by creating multiple pathways to possibilities. APD identifies the service needs of people with developmental disabilities, and those individuals may receive social, medical, behavioral, residential, and/or therapeutic services.

Early Learning Coalition

Whether you want to apply for school readiness child care services, enroll in VPK or get information about other early education resources, the place to start is with your local early learning coalition.

DCF

Working in partnership with local communities to protect the vulnerable, promote strong and economically self-sufficient families, and advance personal and family recovery and resiliency.

HOPE Florida

Connects individuals and families with community-based Hope Navigators who create personalized action plans to overcome barriers and achieve long-term self-sufficiency. Participants are linked to a wide network of nonprofits, faith-based organizations, government services, and businesses to address needs like housing, employment, and food. Hope Florida serves a wide range of people, including those on public assistance, foster youth, single parents, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Youth and Family Advocates (YFA)

YFA provides public policy initiatives, child welfare case management, prevention, and other essential services that make a profound, positive impact on the youth and families we serve. Our programs and services are funded by local, state, and federal governments; corporate and non-profit partners; and individuals who support our mission.

Arnette House

Arnette House, Inc. provides safe and effective programs for youth and families in Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus & Hernando Counties. Our caring and dedicated staff provide a secure environment for young people to develop skills and knowledge that positively impact their lives. We offer residential and non-residential programs that are free of charge to families.

LifeStream

LifeStream is a behavioral health and social services organization that provides high-quality treatment, education, care management, rehabilitation, child welfare, primary care and homeless services to children, adolescents, and adults. Located in Central Florida, LifeStream primarily serves the residents of Lake, Citrus and Sumter Counties, with additional programs located in Orange, Marion, Hernando and Hillsborough Counties.
