Centerstone

Centerstone serves as the Managing Entity for The Florida Department of Children and Families for behavioral health services in Manatee, Sarasota, and Desoto Counties.  Centerstone is the primary community behavioral health resource for substance-abuse prevention and intervention for the Suncoast Region.

 

Safe Children’s Coalition

Safe Children Coalition of Sarasota, Manatee, and Desoto Counties coordinates community agencies to assist abused and neglected children and their families in reaching their full potential in a safe and stable environment.

 

Children’s Behavioral Health Resources

 

Links to many agencies and facilities in Manatee, Sarasota, and Desota Counties which assist families with behavioral health challenges.

 

NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness

 

The families and members of NAMI Sarasota and Manatee Counties offer understanding to anyone concerned about mental illnesses and the treatment of mental illness. NAMI Sarasota and Manatee Counties, Inc. improves the lives of individuals, families and caregivers on their journey to mental wellness.

 

Family Resources Inc.

 

Family Resources offers counseling services, shelter and street outreach programs, and an array of community-based programs that assist youth in dealing with family issues, peer pressures, and other social challenges. Our services offer hope while providing education, skill building and therapeutic support that gives youth and families the tools necessary to resolve conflicts and experience successful, permanent relationships.

FDLRS Gulfcoast

 

The Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) is an IDEA Funded State Project of the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS). The mission of FDLRS is to support and enhance exceptional student education programs by providing evidence-based, high-quality professional learning opportunities, integrating assistive and instructional technology, promoting family engagement, and ensuring access to early intervention services.
