Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Programs (SIPP)
Medicaid reimburses for SIPP services to provide extended psychiatric residential treatment with the goal of facilitating a successful return to treatment in a community-based setting.
SIPP services include:
–Individual plan of care
–Assessment
–Routine medical and dental care
–Certified educational programming
–Recreational, vocational, and behavior analysis service
–Therapeutic home assignment

- Therapeutic Group Care
- Inpatient Residential Programs
- Specialized Facilities and Resources- Statewide Provider List
- Specialized Facilities Out-of-State Provider List
- Outpatient Providers
- File can be shared by local project managers
SIPP Elegibility
Florida Medicaid recipients requiring medically necessary SIPP services who meet the following criteria:
–Under the age of 21 years
–Require treatment in a psychiatric residential setting due to a primary diagnosis of emotional disturbance or serious emotional disturbance as defined in Chapter 394, Florida Statutes.
